A ready-to-use foliar biostimulant formulated from enzymatically hydrolysed plant amino acids, fulvic acids, and humic acids — designed to restore and strengthen the immune function of plants that have experienced stress, improving their resistance to external pressures of all kinds, accelerating adaptation to new environments, and significantly enhancing their capacity to absorb nutrients. No overdose risk. Effective year-round on all container plants and garden flowers.
Plant Booster uses the same three-component organic acid and amino acid framework as Leaf Booster, but formulated at concentrations and in a combination specifically calibrated for systemic immunity restoration rather than primarily targeted leaf regeneration. The difference is one of physiological emphasis: where Leaf Booster prioritises new leaf growth and colour restoration, Plant Booster prioritises the whole-plant immune and adaptive responses that determine long-term resilience.
Enzymatically hydrolysed plant amino acids (CAS 9015-54-7) — the “enzymatically hydrolysed” designation is significant. Enzymatic hydrolysis (as opposed to acid hydrolysis) produces a more complete and biologically intact amino acid profile, preserving the L-form amino acids that plants can use directly in protein synthesis and in signalling pathways. L-amino acids are precursors to the plant hormones and secondary metabolites that mediate stress responses: L-phenylalanine is the precursor of phenylpropanoids and lignins that strengthen cell walls; L-tryptophan is the precursor of indole-3-acetic acid (auxin); L-methionine is the precursor of ethylene, the stress hormone that triggers systemic defence responses. Delivering a full L-amino acid profile directly to plant tissue provides the molecular substrate for the entire cascade of immune and adaptive responses simultaneously.
Fulvic acids (CAS 479-66-3) — the membrane-permeable organic acids that carry the amino acid components directly into plant cells, bypassing the need for active transport proteins that may be under-expressed in stressed plants. In addition to their carrier function, fulvic acids chelate the trace elements already present in plant tissue and improve their mobility within the plant — ensuring that the plant’s existing mineral reserves are redistributed to where they are most needed during recovery.
Humic acids (CAS 1415-93-6) — the larger organic acid fraction that stimulates cytokinin and auxin biosynthesis in plant cells, activating the growth regulator pathways that are suppressed under stress conditions. Humic acids also improve the soil biology around roots when the spray drains to the soil surface, building the rhizosphere conditions that support long-term plant vigour.
Plant Booster works at the level of the plant’s systemic immune and adaptive systems rather than at any single organ or symptom:
Plant Booster is designed for all container and garden plants across their full growth cycle: all types of houseplants, container flowers, and garden flowers. It is the foundational biostimulant in the Dr.Soil range — the product to reach for whenever a plant needs restoration rather than targeted treatment of a specific symptom.
Plant Booster is ready to use directly from the bottle — no dilution required. Shake well before use. Apply by foliar spray directly onto leaves and stems. Also spray periodically around the base of the plant directly onto the soil surface to support root zone biology and build rhizosphere conditions. Can be used year-round without restriction.
| Plant type | Method | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Houseplants | Foliar spray directly onto leaves and stems; also spray around the base of the stem onto the soil surface | Periodically year-round; apply immediately after transplanting or any stress event; twice weekly during intensive recovery |
| Garden flowers in pots or beds | Foliar spray directly onto leaves; in summer and winter also spray at the base of the plant, directly onto the soil | Twice weekly (e.g. Monday and Friday) through spring and autumn; continue through summer and winter with soil-base application added |
The solution does not attack plant cells in any way — there is no risk of overdose, no phytotoxicity, and no restriction on application frequency.
Plant Booster is also available in a 10 ml single-dose sachet using the V-Shape packaging system — a precision format designed for exact, waste-free dosing. Each 10 ml sachet mixes with exactly 1 litre of water. The V-Shape design ensures complete emptying without waste. Ideal for immediate post-transplant treatment, for targeted individual plant recovery, or for trial use.
Plant Booster is classified as a plant biostimulant (CFP 6A) under EU Regulation (EU) 2019/1009. It is not classified as hazardous. All ingredients are of plant origin. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the application dose. Store in original packaging at 5–20°C away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Wash hands after use. Do not consume. Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses.
