1. Ordering

How do I place an order?
Simply browse our products, add items to your basket, and complete checkout on shop.drsoil.co.uk. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

Do I need to create an account?
You can checkout as a guest, but creating an account allows you to track orders, save delivery details, and view your order history.

Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order has not yet been dispatched, please contact us immediately at sales@drsoil.co.uk. Once dispatched, cancellations are covered by our Returns Policy.

2. Delivery

Where do you deliver?
We deliver across the United Kingdom. For special delivery requests outside the UK, please contact us directly.

How long will delivery take?
Standard delivery is normally within 3–5 working days. During peak seasons this may be longer, but we will keep you informed. All orders are delivered within 30 days at the latest, as required by law.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your order and location. Costs are displayed clearly before you confirm your purchase.

3. Returns & Refunds

Can I return products if I change my mind?
Yes, under UK law you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order. Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for details.

Are there products I cannot return?
For hygiene and safety reasons, once bags of substrate or bottles of fertiliser have been opened, they cannot be returned unless faulty or misdescribed.

How long will it take to get a refund?
Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving your returned goods or proof of postage. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

4. Products

Are your products safe to use?
Yes. All our fertilisers and substrates are manufactured in compliance with applicable UK and EU standards. Always follow the instructions on the label.

What size are your bags and bottles?
Our substrates are packed in convenient 1-litre bags and fertilisers in bottles designed for home and garden use, helping you avoid waste.

Do your products have an expiry date?
Yes. Each product is labelled with a “best before” date to ensure maximum quality and effectiveness. We never supply expired stock.

5. Payment & Security

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major debit/credit cards and other secure online payment methods, as shown at checkout.

Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by trusted third-party providers using industry-standard encryption. We do not store card details on our servers.

6. Accounts & Data

How is my personal data used?

7. Complaints & Customer Service

How do I make a complaint?
We aim to provide excellent service, but if something goes wrong, please contact us first at sales@drsoil.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 working days.

What if I am not satisfied with the outcome?
If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may have the right to refer the matter to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. While we are not obliged to use ADR, we will provide details upon request. You also have the right to take legal action through the courts of England and Wales.
