Dr.Soil Leaf Booster — Leaf Development & Regeneration Biostimulant, Ready to Use, 1 L

A ready-to-use foliar biostimulant formulated from plant amino acids, fulvic acids, humic acids, and macro and micro elements — designed to support the development and cellular regeneration of leaves that have experienced stress, whilst intensifying foliage colour and stimulating the growth of new, healthy leaves. No overdose risk. Effective year-round on all cultivated plants.

How It Is Formulated

Leaf Booster is formulated from four categories of biologically active compounds, each working at a different level of the leaf’s physiology to support recovery, regeneration, and vigorous new growth.

Plant amino acids (derived from plant material, CAS 65072-01-7) are the direct molecular building blocks of every protein the plant synthesises, including the structural proteins of new leaf cells, the enzymes of the photosynthetic system, and the pigment proteins of chlorophyll. When delivered directly to leaves by foliar spray, free amino acids bypass the entire process of soil nitrogen conversion, root absorption, and xylem transport — making them available to leaf cells within hours of application. For leaves recovering from stress, this immediate availability accelerates the cellular repair and new protein synthesis that restoration requires.

Fulvic acids (CAS 479-66-3) are low-molecular-weight organic acids extracted from natural humic material. Their small molecular size allows them to pass directly through cell membranes — a property unique among common plant biostimulants. In foliar application, fulvic acids carry dissolved mineral nutrients directly into leaf cells, dramatically improving the uptake efficiency of the macro and micro elements present in the formulation. They also stimulate the electron transfer reactions of photosynthesis at the cellular level, supporting the energy production that drives cellular regeneration.

Humic acids (CAS 1415-93-6) are larger organic molecules with a strong chelating capacity that binds and stabilises the mineral nutrients in the formulation, preventing them from becoming chemically unavailable before they reach the leaf cell. Applied foliarly, humic acids improve the adhesion and retention of the spray solution on the leaf surface, extending the window of absorption. They also stimulate the synthesis of cytokinins — the plant hormones that specifically govern leaf cell division and the initiation of new leaf development.

Macro and micro elements provide the mineral nutrition directly required for leaf development: the nitrogen for protein synthesis, the iron and magnesium for chlorophyll, and the trace elements required by the enzyme systems that drive cellular metabolism and cell wall construction.

How It Works

  • Direct cellular delivery via fulvic acids — fulvic acids act as molecular carriers that transport amino acids and mineral nutrients through the leaf’s cuticle and directly into leaf cells; the speed of response distinguishes foliar biostimulant application from soil-applied nutrition, where visible results take weeks rather than days
  • Amino acid protein synthesis — free amino acids provide the immediate substrate for cellular repair and new leaf protein synthesis; they also directly stimulate chloroplast development, which drives the intensification of leaf colour that is the most visible result of Leaf Booster application
  • Cytokinin stimulation via humic acids — the cytokinin induction activity of humic acids triggers the cell division signals that initiate new leaf development at growing points; the result is visible as the accelerated emergence of new leaves at shoot tips and nodes following regular application
  • Mineral nutrition — the macro and micro elements restore the mineral balance in leaves depleted by stress, pest damage, or repeated leaching; the fulvic acid carriers ensure these elements are absorbed rather than remaining on the leaf surface

Plants and Their Needs

Leaf Booster is designed for all plants where leaf quality, colour, and recovery from stress are the priority: houseplants, tropical foliage plants, vegetables, aromatic herbs, garden flowers in pots or beds.

When Leaf Booster Is Most Valuable

  • After drought stress — plants that have been allowed to dry out excessively suffer cellular membrane damage in leaves that manifests as brown leaf tips, wilting, and premature leaf drop; Leaf Booster applied immediately after rehydration accelerates cellular repair and reduces the permanent tissue damage that would otherwise persist
  • After pest damage — sucking insects (aphids, spider mites, whitefly) remove photosynthates and leave behind toxins that discolour and distort affected leaves; Leaf Booster applied after pest treatment supports the regeneration of damaged tissue and stimulates replacement leaf growth
  • After mechanical damage — pruning, repotting root disturbance, and physical damage divert the plant’s resources to wound healing; Leaf Booster accelerates recovery and restores active leaf function more rapidly
  • Pale or yellowing foliage — when leaves are losing colour despite adequate watering, Leaf Booster delivers the amino acids and mineral nutrients that restore chlorophyll synthesis and return foliage to its characteristic deep, vibrant colour
  • Regular maintenance for peak foliage quality — used preventively through the growing season, Leaf Booster maintains the consistently vivid colour and structural quality of foliage that distinguishes a well-maintained plant from one that is merely surviving

How to Use

Leaf Booster is ready to use directly from the bottle — no dilution required. Shake well before use. Apply by foliar spray directly onto leaves, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces. For houseplants, also spray periodically around the base of the stem onto the soil surface to support root zone biology. Can be used year-round without restriction.

Plant type Method Frequency
Houseplants Foliar spray directly onto leaves; also spray around the base of the stem onto the soil surface Periodically year-round; increase to twice weekly for plants in active recovery from stress
Vegetables, herbs, garden flowers Foliar spray directly onto leaves; in summer and winter also spray at the base of the plant, directly onto the soil Twice weekly (e.g. Monday and Friday) through spring and autumn; continue through summer and winter with soil-base application added

Apply in the morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler and the spray has maximum time to be absorbed before evaporating. The solution does not attack plant cells in any way — there is no risk of overdose.

The 10 ml Single-Dose Format

Leaf Booster is also available in a 10 ml single-dose sachet using the V-Shape packaging system — a precision format designed for exact, waste-free dosing. Each 10 ml sachet mixes with exactly 1 litre of water to produce a ready-to-spray solution. The V-Shape design ensures complete emptying without waste. Ideal for targeted treatment of individual plants or for first-time use.

Precautions

Leaf Booster is not classified as hazardous. All ingredients are of plant origin. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the application dose. Store in original packaging at 5–20°C away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Wash hands after use. Do not consume. Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses.
